Most common inhalant allergens in atopic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis/allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis/bronchial asthma group of patients: a 5- year retrospective study
Atopic dermatitis is a chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disease with a distinctive clinical appearance and distribution. Around 85% of patients have positive immediate skin reaction or specific IgE on different airborne allergens and are in association with respiratory allergy. We have conducted a retrospective, open and uncontrolled study. The aim was to identify the most common inhalant allergens in AD patients, AD/allergic rhinitis patients, and AD/bronchial asthma group of patients by skip prick test for each year from 2001 to 2005 period.
