Ethics and Privatisation in Croatia

The legitimacy of privatization, a disproportion between privatization and social justice and cases of corruption – questions and problems which caught hold of countries with state-property, also of Croatia (with some particularities in aspects of the so called societal property) developed before and after the process of transformation of a planned to a market economy, or a state-centralistic to a entrepreneurship-oriented economics of a free-market. In Croatia that process was impeded because of an inadequate institutional and instrumental frame, and a lack of real capital in planned economy. The result of such a situation in the state is like following: unequal distribution raises, increasing poverty and growing social exclusion. If we draw a parallel between the mentioned matter and ethics, also with applied ethics, we can see the following dimensions of this problem. Privatization, seen as a one-time game of a zero-sum, enables maneuvers of the fastest and most enterprising actors. Under such conditions to most people everything appears relative, which enforces the growing number of opportunity-ethics followers. Ethics-ethics reminds of the sentence carpe diem – seize the day. That is to say: it appears impossible to judge certain situations based on general norms. Seemingly general moral norms are concealed, so the decision and choice are left to the intuitional judgment, which isn't justified, because the choice isn't made in conscious and objective terms. On the other hand, in economy the term of border-morale became settled, which means that in management the borders of legality are being reached, occasionally overcome. Certain procedures can be morally justified, as long they're not interfering with the law. In this paper is to be explained how to build a life-habitus, in times when more varying problematic seek new and revalorized, already found solutions. Because, used to the opinion that if something is enforced by the law, it is also good, i.e. legal, up to now it included its legitimacy. But some unethical behavior the legislative can not identify, therefore not sanctionize, so that ethical norms arise as prepositions for the functioning of a system in society, as like economy, including a sensible application of moral achievements.
