Signal Dynamics Applied Cochlear Implant Stimulation Methods

The application of cohlear implants in the correction of hearing and speech impediments in deaf persons is known more than 16 years. The first implantation of 22 channel cohlear implant system at the Šalata Otorhinolaryngology Clinic in Zagreb is done in November 1996. In this paper the procedure for application of the cohlear implant, the implant system and reabilitation are presented. Signal dynamics on every of applied cohlear implant stimulated methods are observed and compared for selection the optimal method of stimulation.
