Identification and Controller Design of the Biogas Plant Laboratory Model
The paper takes in consideration mathematical model identification of the laboratory model of the digester for biogas production. The nonlinear mathematical model of thermal processes of digester is obtained by analytical approach for control purposes. Parameters of the model are calculated by offline optimization from experimental data . The process is described with nonlinear model with 2 inputs and 2 outputs. The goal of control is to obtain as fast as possible transient response without overshoot and static error. Beside classical control algorithms the decomposition and control strategy with variable structure controller is investigated.
