Quantithermal analysis of bauxite

Methodology research for determination of chemical composition of oxygen and siliceous mineral row materials by means of classical or instrumental methods has special value when accuracy precision and performance speed are required. The aim of this research was to adapt the new testing methods in the analysis of some Yugoslav bauxite samples regarding their chemical composition. A detail study of quantithermical analysis for determination of main oxygen components in bauxite was made. The results were statistically processed and compared with classic gravimetry and volumetry analyses. The influence of bauxite mineral composition was studied as well in order to achieve accurate and reproducible results.
