Sažetak
In this paper a general expression for the four-dimensional (4D) force Ka is given. This 4D force Ka is exerted by the electromagnetic field tensor Fab onto the dipole moment tensor Dab and it replaces the usual 3D forces that are written with the 3D E, B and d, m. It is shown that the quantum phase shifts in the Roentgen effect and the Aharonov-Casher effect can be calculated using that concept of the 4D force Ka .
