Improvement of equipment for calibrating gas flow working standards in Zagreb gasworks
In last few years a system for calibrating gas flow working standards has been introduced in Laboratory for Gas Flow Measurement in Zagreb Gasworks. On installation with bell prover, new guides for bell prover were designed, constructed and installed. The main objective was to achieve smaller measurement uncertainty. A description of a testing installation, measurement process, mathematical model and calculation of measurement uncertainties are presented. The obtained measurement uncertainty of bell prover is smaller than 0.1%. This will contribute to establish new gas flow standard for range up to 130 m3/h with high accuracy of measurements.
