Transparent Autocalibration of Computer Controlled Measurement Systems
By realizing measurement systems with two parallel lines, both sharing the common source of references, the autocalibration could be made transparent and high measurement accuracy could be achieved and preserved in variable environmental conditions. The proposed measurement system models and measurement procedures are based on multiple point autocalibration, which enables efficient compensation of the nonlinearities and instabilities of both the measurement system and the transducer characteristics. Discrete omtimization algorithm is developed finding out the optimum total number number and the distribution of the references for the given calibration characteristics of the measurement system and the transducer. The results of the simulation of the measurement system models on a digital computer are also presented.
