Mould cavity wall thickness is very important factor in moulds for injection moulding of polymers. Its value has a special influence on mould plate stiffness and mould heat exchange intensity. This also means a great influence on moulded parts functionality and quality. Dimensioning of mould cavity wall must be carried out with special attention. In this paper is represented an example of simulation aided mould cavity wall thickness dimensioning using Monte Carlo method.
