Steam generator design based on mathematical modelling

A mathematical model for the water-tube type of the steam generator is developed. The model has provisions for different types of heat exchange surfaces. Uniform inputs and outputs of the models of these surfaces enable easy inclusion into the main model where the configuration of steam generator is defined. The mathematical model is one-dimensional with heat exchange surfaces being nods of the system. The model is used as an auxiliary tool in upgrading design of the steam generator for fast steam production.
