Calculation of NOx production in a large steam generator combustion chamber
In this paper the mathematical model of steady state thermodynamic processes inside a 1000 t/h steam generator is presented. It is a lumped model based on the "normative" design method. In the combustion chamber model the enhanced Zeldovich mechanism for thermal NO calculation is incorporated. Calculation results of the temperature profiles along water-vapor, flue gas and air tracts are successfully compared with measurements data. Results of NOx calculations are shown graphically for three different power plant loads.
