Realisation of the Conceptual Design of the Graphic Media - Poster
The process of realization of each graphic media includes chronologically the generation of the idea, visualization, style and realization. In this process the designer's solution passes evolution from the appearance of the idea, through the visualization process to implementation in the chosen graphic media. The starting idea is transformed, from its generation to realization in accordance with the technological possibilities of production. The whole process of realization of the graphic media is analyzed on the example of poster design used in promotion of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the University of Zagreb Fair. The poster was chosen as the best media of exterior, which belongs to the category of presentation and promotion ; on which image and words have to be combined in unique meaning. Poster has to be visually attractive and recognizable. The authors of the conceptual design were the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Graphic Arts, the University og Zagreb Graphic design at module.
