Solution Valuating in Transport Planning by Implementation of the Multicriteria Optimisation

Research and planning of the transport phenomenon is a complex task which means analysis, planning and managing of many factors and elements that influenced and determined such phenomenon. According that, there is a necessity for existence of the adequate methodology in function of the analysing, researching and definition of the transport solutions and decisions connected with specific object of the transport planning. Because of the importance and necessities of the whole and many-sided transport solutions analyses, in this paper the possibilities and specifics of the multicriteria optimisation in process of transport planning are illustrated. Such a method might be in function of defining important conclusions, guidelines and decisions, giving precise and concrete transport solutions and decisions for complex and multicriteria determined problems of transport planning. According that, introduction and implementation of the multicriteria optimisation method, might be of great importance for all these persons, expert teams or, for example, authorities which are involved in definition of the specific decisions connected with any complex and multicriteria determined transport problem. Since, the suggested methodology might have characteristics of “ an universal model” , which can be applied on many transport problems, the main aim of this paper is giving information about the methodology, process and possibility to use multicriteria optimisation in transport planning practice.
