Lipid peroxidation and antioxidative response during chloroplast biogenesis in developing leaves of Norway maple (Acer platanoides L.)
Lipid peroxidation and antioxidtaive response during chloroplast biogenesis in developing leaves was investigated. Our investigation revealed that biogenesis of the photosynthetic apparatus in developing leaves consequently led to the enhanced oxidative stress reflected as the increased lipid peroxidation. Also, we shoved that different antioxidative strategies operate in young and mature leaves.
