The asymptotic behavior of quasi-Newtonian flow through a very thin or a very long curved pipe

Using the rigorous two-scale asymptotic analysis we derive a Poiseuille-like approximation for the power-law flow in a curved pipe. The method is based on an application of curvilinear coordinates defined from the Frenet's basis attached to the central curve of the pipe.
