Errors in pronunciation in young learners'interlanguage
The aim of this thesis was to analyse the pronunciation errors in learner talk in the foreign language classroom at an elementary level. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the terminology crucial for understanding the research, described in the practical part. The research consisted of the analysis of data obtained from four transcribed English lessons recorded in two different elementary schools. The results have showed that the sources for errors in pronunciation stand in the differences between the English and Croatian language system. By discovering the source of problems the analysis has helped in facilitating the teaching and learning process.
