In innovating their offer and to ensure competitive ability, which is the only measure of performance on the dynamic tourist market, Croatian hotel and tourism companies are in need of reengineering their operations. In response to stimulations from the environment, the primary strategic orientations of companies are: - CRM (Customer Relationship Management) - maximising tourist satisfaction by innovating and adapting offer to meet increasingly sophisticated tourist preferences ; - BI (business Intelligence) - researching and predicting the actions of competitors and changes in the environment, in generating strategic advantages.
