This chapter presents a short overview of the Croatian civil procedure. It specifically explains the basic principles of civil procedure in Croatia, jurisdiction and composition of the courts, the course of the proceedings before the courts of first instance (including the rules on hearings, evidentiary procedure and rendering a judgment), appellate proceedings as well as review of unappealable court decisions.
