Probabilityy of Signal-to-Interference Ratio in Mobile Cellular Systems
Analyzed are the probability functions of a sum of cochannel interference signals in a mobile cellular network. The assumptions were made that the signal variations follow the Rayleigh distribution and the mean power decrease as d-n with n=-3.5.. On numerical examples it is shown that the probability function of the sum of interfering signal can be approximated with a Rayleight distribution with the mean roughly equal to the men of the strongest interference signal. Based on these facts a comparison of efficiency between two cellular systems is carried out
