Europska Unija i Hrvatska: dinamika pregovora, njihova medijska re-kontekstualizacija i dominantni diskursi
Most analysts agree that the inadequate role of the media in popularizing and explaining the whole process, the main documents as well as the consequences ensuing from the process of acceptance for countries of the European Union in general and individually, shoud be emphasized. Our overall analysis confirms that the topic of full accession of Croatia to the European Union is indeed present in the selected daily newspapers and magazine Globus. According to the analysis of three of the most important Croatian newspapers in reporting about the European Union the political issue is certainly dominant. On the other hand, an array of topics were neglected, especially those concerning the economy. We tryed to adapt some basic procedures of CDA to our research goals, and yet to identify main journalists' discourses used for the analysis of the relationship between the EU and Croatia.
