Serum samples from 192 sheep from different region of Croatia were tested to determine the prevalence of antibodies against Neospora caninum using SVANOVIR Neospora- Ab ISCOM enzyme-linked immunoassay. All flocks were kept on pastures with guardian dogs. Totally 6 flocks of different breeds from different parts of Croatia were screened. From each flock randomly 32 ewes were checked. Antibodies to N. caninum were found in 4 flocks. Totally 11 animals (5.7%) were found seropositive . The prevalence varied among flocks (6.25 %, 6.25%, 9.75% and 12.5% respectively). The highest prevalence was found among Württemberg ewes. with lower reproductive indices. Flocks of autochtonous Pramenka breed were all serologically negative.
