Graftectomy of renal transplant
Presented are the problems of graftectomy of a renal transplant. Indications for graftectomy. as well as the analysis of conditions which lead to extraction of a kidney transplant are distinctly and clearly set forth. Operational tehnicque in graftectomy, namely two ways of kidney transplant removal are described in detail: - the first, so called genuine graftectomy, when the kidney is fully prepared as well as blood vesels up to the placeof anastomosis and the ureter up to the urinary bladder. - the second, socalled subcapsular graftectomy, by which after the incision the abdominal walll, the connective membrane and the kidney capsule opens sharply. Aside from general complications which may accompany graftectomy, the authors present theirs personal experience gained at graftectomies at the Department for Urology-Rebro
