Powersafe Batteries – Optimal Characteristics for Powerstations
AGM VRLA batteries have introduced fully redundant full float power supplay systems into powerstation without any change of the existing voltage limits, which coould not be realized by flooded batteries up to now. Due to high open circuit voltage and low internal resistanse, Powersafe withstand well high rate duty or transient inrush current. NAMAS experimental results of voltage drop measured on Powersafe during typically expacted innrush current at the beginning and after the projected discharging time are presented.
AGM VRLA battery; flooded battery; open ciircuit voltage; internal resistance; high rate duty; inruch current
