In vitro propagation of Betula pendula dalecarlica

Adventitious buds formation has been induced out of leaf segments. The influences of NAA and IBA upon the stimulation of in vitro rhizogenesis have been tested separately and in combinations. The achieved high percentage of rooting (100%) and other morphological features are reliable markers of rejuvenilization of plants reproduced by adventitious buds formation. The quantitative composition of peroxidase was investigated in the process of in vitro rooting of obtained shoots. Comparative studies based on a karyological analysis showed that there were no changes in the karyotype of in vitro obtained shoots. The successful acclimatization (93.3%) has been obtained after investigation of different substrata and conditions.
