Sažetak
In this paper the high-efficiency machining range of fine longitudinal turning of a rotor of electric motor made of steel Č 2161 has been established. By regression analysis of the tool wear testing results, the empirical Taylor tool life equation was determined according to the ISO 3685:1993 standard. Then, it was used for calculation of economic cutting speed as well as productive cutting speed.
