On Anisotropic Formulations of Multiplicative Finite Strain Plasticity. Theoretical and Numerical Aspects
Two possible formulations of anisotropic large strain multiplicative inelasticity are considered. In the first one, is treated as a material-like tensor resulting in a formulation which is non-invariant with respect to finite rotations superimposed on . The free energy function is formulated in terms of the elastic strain measure together with structural tensors defined at the reference configuration. In a second formulation, invariant with respect to rotations superimposed on , the free energy function is defined using the elastic strain measure together with modified structural tensors. The modification is due to a mixed-variant transformation of the material structural tensors under the action of . Such a transformation insures the mentioned invariance. The interrelation of the two different formulations is discussed and numerical examples of anisotropic large strain deformations are presented.
