Responsibility Challenge for Journalism
this paper looks at the theory of responsible journalism, challenged by public's trust in the media, which should be acquired through combat for objectivity, truth, and values, opening "its heart" to pity. In a democratic political system the autonomy of ordinary people as well as individual human identity will be protected without being overexposed to ideologies. The professional journalism is endangered by cynicism and hypocrisy ; but the aim of winning requirements of how to support successful and sustainable economic and cultural development, presupose values as aspects of truth. Involving media in the conduct of public life and business decisions prevails particularly in tourism industry which appears to be an unrivaled source in promoting the quality of life and wealth creation.
