Optimal Function-Model Choise

Water has an absorption band of four wavelengths, namely 1.2, 1.45, 1.94, and 2.94 micrometers, in the near-infrared range. When a sample is irradiated with source light inclusive of the wavelengths above, this sample will absorb energy light in accordance with its moisture content. As moisture content of wheat increased, reflectance from the wheat sample decreased, which indicates that water is a strong light absorber than a sandy wheat sample. By the regression analysis are looked for functions-model and its optimal parameters for the description of the moisture content in wheat based on the measuring values. The different functions-models are analyses and compared in this paper. The rates of data dispersion around the function are given by the standard deviation. Its dispersions are matched for the different functions-models.
