Sažetak
In the introduction forces acting on the knitting needle in the process of loop formation on the single-bed circular knitting machine are mentioned. In the experimental part a new method of measuring the tensile/pressure force of the knitting needle is described. To the needle shanks tensometers measuring the longitudinal deformation of the needle were attached. Measuring signal is transferred to the amplifier and HF transmitter, and thereafter in a contactless manner to the HF receiver, wherefrom it is conducted to the A/D transducer or computer respectively, where the signal is stored, processed and if necessary displayed.
