Changing Activities and Environments at Pupićina Cave = Promjene aktivnosti i krajolika oko Pupićine peći

In this paper we integrate the different lines of evidence about human activities at Pupićina Cave and its immediate surroundings, recovered during our fieldwork. We begin by considering the stratigraphic sequence at Pupićina, using the radiocarbon dates, geoarchaeology, and cultural remains to identify gaps in the record. We also consider the rate at which remains were deposited in the cave, relative to both the amount of deposited sediment, as well as the length of occupation. We explore how the range and nature of activities changed over time. Finally, we pull together the different strands of data in a temporal narrative about regional environments and human activities at Pupićina Cave. We structure our narrative around four main time periods: the Neolithic, the Middle Bronze Age, the Iron Age, and the Roman period.
