Handbook for Managers and Entrepreneurs in Countries in Transition
Countries coming out of a system of central economic planning are in a process of complete change and renewal (ownership, economic, financial, cultural, and social). From the standpoint of individuals, these changes lead primarily to the creation of the necessary conditions for starting attractive small and medium-sized enterprises. These businesses are also the best means of presenting entrepreneurial management as a modern business concept. In the first part of the book are given the prerequisites for entrepreneurial management divided into five basic sections: the development of countries in transition, the manager's role, the entrepreneur's role, management and entrepreneurship and the business plan. In this way, managers and entrepreneurs are aided in comprehending and utilizing the basic factors of modern business. This book can greatly aid managers and entrepreneurs in all countries in transition because their collective goal is starting and developing of small, medium-sized and large enterprises, privatization and reconstruction of existing enterprises, finding solutions to unemployment problems, development of cultural values, environmental protection, as well as a rapid increase in the standard of living, in other words, to create an entrepreneurial society.
