Mathematical Model and Simulation of Human Movement on PC

The paper deals with mathematical modelling and simulation of human locomotion. The physical model with five degrees of movement in sagital plane is suggested. Using Euler-Lagrange law the system of differential equations defining movement is built. The muscle forces are considered as active forces. The ground reaction is also included in the model. The analysis of sensitivity of the dynamic action of the whole model on parameters originated by centrifugal forces is done. Sensitivity shows no influence of these elements at normal walking speeds. Simplification of the model is done and the mathematical model is simulated on the PC.
