Sažetak
Peculiarities are presented of the original interactive evolutionary algorithm intended for the manufacture of computer-generated match of fabric weave and colours. Due to some special requirements and limitations, characteristic for the evolutionary algorithm applied for fabric designing, it is necessary to introduce new and original recombination operators. As no data is available on value parameters for such an algorithm, it is necessary to determine the parameters based on comprehensive empirical investigations, performed with a number of subjects. Few alternative algorithms are tested and results compared. Appropriate form is suggested and the applicability of the algorithm for fabric pattern manufacturing presented.
