3D ANALYSES OF TIMBER STRUCTURES

The paper presents the numerical models and the results of several recent space gluelaminated timber structures in Croatia. The numerical analyses were carried out on complex 3D space models by use of COSMOS/M 2.9 software. The analyses completely encompass all the elements of timber structures to the foundations. The paper presents some modelling details, presentation of bonding conditions, and taking into account of the complex timber features in 3D modelling. Besides the static analyses, the presentation of results also shows the Buckling Analyses as well as the Frequency Analyses. The paper also presents some of the facilities built in the last ten years, encompassed in the preceding numerical analyses.
