New Timber Roof Structure of Kulmer's Castle
Presented is the reconstruction of the timber roof structure of Kulmer's castle. The reconstruction was done in accordance with the recomendations of the Institute for the Protection and Reconstruction of Cultural and Natural Heritage and the external appearance of the castle is a replica of the original built in the early 19th century. Here is presenting the details of the reconstruction an making of the new glulam timber structure. Spruce wood was used for the laminated girders, protected with insecticide and fungicide Lesol coating. The static analysis were performed by use of COSMOS/M software.
