Psychopharmacotherapy
The Croatian Congress of Psychopharmacotherapy was organized with the intention to cover modern psychopharmacotherapy and new concepts of treatments. The conference was held in Zagreb, Croatia, and, although it was a national congress with participants from Croatia, over 300 international participants also attended from Switzerland, the UK, Germany, the US, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia and Monte Negro. The congress was unique in that psychiatrists, general practitioners, medical students, but also some patients and their family members were invited to attend. The scientific program consisted of plenary and invited lectures that were held in nine symposia, eight mini-symposia sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies, and one poster session. There were four introductory lectures, 36 invited lectures held in symposia, and 26 lectures in the mini-symposia.
