Utjecaj dorade pređa i pletiva na spiralnost desno-lijevih kulirnih pletiva

The paper describes the previous achievments in solving the spirality of plain jersey knit fabrics with finishing yarns and knit fabrics. The properties of knitting yarns, e.g. yarn twist factor and remaining torsion tension have the biggest influence on spirality appearance. Yarns gets a lot of properties directing, paralelizing and twisting textile fibers and those properties influence the distorzion of wales and courses. It has been estimated that, for solving the problem of spirality, it is interesting to research which finishing of yarn will neutralize the properties of elastic deformation and friction between fibers and yarns what will decrease the spirality of knit fabrics and how such yarns will influence physical and mechanical properties of knit.
