Sažetak
The paper considers the problems of Groun-Ground and Ground-Air voice communication in the new Intelligent Transport System environment. The basic problem is a growing need for better integration of data and voice transmission between aircraft and controller in air traffic control system. All radar and data processing systems need a gateway to voice communication system for message exchange between aircraft and controller. The most important problem is the new human machine interface for air traffic controller which will be used for selecting and transferring messages from controller to aircraft and reply from aircraft. Thus message wiil reduce the time needed for voice communication. This research focuses on the functional analysis, possible integration of voice and data communication and demonstration of the visibility system support. Voice delay is analyzed as a critical factor for the safety of air traffic.
