A Comparison of Engine Parameters Obtained by Different Methods for Analysing of Diesel Engine Working Cycles
A thermodynamic analysis of the engine working cycle has been developed and performed on several two stroke engines with direct injection. Essential engine parameter have been measured to achieve sufficient accuracy of results. The nature of combustion process has been determined with the physical experimental method. The performances of diesel engines have been monitored by relevant working cycle parameters on which the diagnosis about regularity of engine cycle can be made. The most important results of combustion process have been compared using the correlations by Watson-Piley-Marzouk.
