Development Trends in Teacher Training within the Context of Lifelong Learning: The Experience of Croatia
This paper will conceptualize teacher training as part of the lifelong learning system. Consideration is given to the basic terms of reference of teacher training in Europe which in many aspects reflect the aim of advancing lifelong learning. Significant features and the development tendencies of initial teacher training in Croatia are presented, and they are based on a critical analysis of the current theoretic and conceptual problems.
