Sažetak
A wideband electric field probe consisting of a diode detector connected to a low-pass filter is analyzed. The transfer functions are given for sine and complex-waveform signals. It is shown that the probe responds differently for large and small signals. The calibration procedure is explained. Since the calibration is usually done using a single sine signal, some errors are expected when measuring in different conditions. The measurement errors are defined according to given transfer functions.
