Sažetak
The paper analyzes current approach and problems in risk management process in construction projects. The most frequent negative consequences of risks, such as cost and time overruns, are discussed. The results of risk source researches that have been performed in Croatia since 1996 are presented and compared. Data from the comparison are used for development of risk breakdown structure (RBS) which can facilitate process of risk management in construction projects. RBS can be applied as a tool for determination of key internal or external risk sources, so as a base for developing strategy for dealing with risks in project. Following findings about several the most frequent risk sources the paper analyzes scope of their impacts and provides information about related risk drivers.
