Multielement hair profile (MHP)in a major clinical depression (MCD) indicates a strong etiological link to the euthyroid iodine deficiency (ID)

Multielement hair profile revealed a strong association/etiology link to iodine deficiency. Copper and selenium deficiency also occured at much greater frequency in the depressed than in the control subjects.
