Sažetak
This paper evaluates behavior of materials of the machine components exposed to erosive and corrosive wear and degradation during process of sugar production. Diverse materials were observed during production process of dissolution of sugar beet noodles in solution of water and H2SO4 at J=70 o C. Tested materials were exposed to simulated laboratory wear conditions. On the basis of dimensional control, metallurgical examination of structure and measurement and kinematics, wear between analyzed surface layers and the base material was determined.
