Track and Trace System for Postal Items

Postal operators participate in the development of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) by implementing the advanced Track and Trace System for postal items. In our research we are considering the basic functional description of Track and Trace Systems using systems methodology. The concrete field research is based on HP Express and other similar courier services at the national and global levels. The analysis includes the main technologies that are used as foundation for collecting real-time data about postal items which is the first step in the integration with other information and telematic-based applications.
