Cytogenetic damage in an interplanetary voyage crew
The depness of the sky attracs humans just as much as wide open seas. No matter how deeply all living organisms on the Earth are essentially connected with water, human beings wattch stars from ancient times, in an endeavor to understand their own existence, translating the observed regularities of space phenomena into religion, using them in navigation, trying to find new forms of life or to seed new life. Once again in the history of human civilization, just as 500 years ago, state-of-the-art technology allowes us to launch our ships into the unknown, sending crews of brave men on long voyages in fragile shells protecting their natural microenvironment.
