Regulatory activities of peptidoglycan-monomer linked with zinc on heat shock protein gp96 and metallothioneins in the liver and spleen in old and young mice
The data have shown that PGM-Zn increases the expression of hepatic, splenic and thymic metallothioneins and heat shock protein gp96, suggesting that on such a way it might increase the toxicity against NK and NKT sensitive targets in young and old mice. (Supported by grants from Croatian Ministry of Science, project No 0062018).
peptidoglycan-monomer linked with Zn; aging; heat shock protein gp96; metallothionein I+II; liver; thymus; spleen.
