Detection of stress-70 proteins of mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis using 2-D gel electrophoresis: a proteomics approach

In the present work we investigated the stress-70 proteins in different tissues of the mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. Results indicated that detection and quantification of stress-70 proteins on 2-D nonspecific stained gels without WB analysis is possible, once the spot have been identified.
