Nonstandard methode in testing of firing pulse of electric detonators

Electric detonators are tested according to national standards to test their safety and reliability. This is a time consuming process where up to 150 detonators have to be tested. This paper discuses alternative method of testing of firing pulse using programmable current source. Obtained results are possible to compare with standard procedure results.
