Sažetak
The metal working industry is a source of waste water/oil mixtures, which can, in the case of inappropriate disposal, significantly and permanently contaminate soils and/or waters. In the first part of the paper, the sources and types of metal working industrial waste water/oil mixtures have been elaborated. This part also includes list of basic legislative acts, which determinate that the waste water/oil mixtures are not to be disposed in the municipal waste water sewerage or waste dump without preliminary treatment. The second part of the paper is devoted to the elaboration of most important methods of waste water/oil mixtures treatment, including short techno economical analyses. In the end of the paper the base for the optimal solution of system for metal working industrial waste water/oil mixtures treatment was set up, that are costing evaluation and dynamic programming method of operational research.
